This is what happens when you do not live within your means. Detroit debt is $18.5 billion. Only 1/3 of the ambulances are in service. There are nearly 78,000 abandoned buildings. The attorney and legal fees could run $100 million or more. What should they do? Make the cuts, starting with the Mayors salary, then reduces staff to the bone, cut the pensions. BUT will that happen, HELL NO, you and me will bail out Detroit [it may take a while, a year or two, but our tax dollars will be going there]. That is only the beginning more Cities and yes States too, will be filing bankruptcy. What will happen, you got it, we will bail them out too. BUT who is going to bail us out, no one, nobody will be left. We are all going to be like this pic.
